Dear Sweet Lady Jane Guest,
At Sweet Lady Jane, the health and safety of our customers and employees are top of mind amid concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are open for business and here to serve you. We want to share information with you about how we continue to operate safely and effectively. Our thoughts are with anyone affected by the coronavirus.
Steps we’re taking:
• Our management team is involved in conference calls with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. We are following the guidelines suggested on each call and monitoring the updates daily from the city’s dedicated web portal.
• As a precautionary measure, we are conducting enhanced cleaning practices at all our locations. Our staff has been instructed to sanitize all general public surfaces around the clock.
• Although a 20-second hand lather with soap and water has always been part of our core standards company-wide, we are closely monitoring all hand-washing stations and making additional washing an added step to our daily routine.
• As a food service establishment, we never allow anyone presenting as sick to work a shift, and we are encouraging the use of paid sick time. Anyone not feeling well is sent home immediately.
Our priority remains keeping Sweet Lady Jane employees and customers safe and well-informed while doing what we can to help minimize potential spread of the coronavirus.
We encourage you to order online or call our locations for regular and custom cake delivery. Using Postmates, Uber Eats, or Door Dash for home-delivered meals is an excellent way to avoid the crowds.
Please be assured we have devoted significant resources and efforts to help mitigate against possible adverse impacts from the coronavirus and will continue working hard to provide the level of service you have come to expect.
Jane and all our SLJ management and team members
