We are open Monday
through Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m. We are now open Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Does Sweet Lady Jane make specialty cakes to order?
Yes. Please review the contents of this website first for ideas, or come
on in and see our photo albums showing various cakes we've done in
the past (best time to view the cake books is between 9am and 3pm).
Or bring in a picture or artwork (perhaps download an image from the internet)
......we do custom decorating for all occasions! Our
Specialty Cakes pages show a few examples of what is possible with shape,
texture and color.
How much notice is necessary for the preparation of special orders?
We
suggest ordering your dessert(s) as far in advance of your event as possible and if it's
one of our standard cake designs we suggest a minimum 48 to 72 hours
prior to your event. See our

Does Sweet Lady Jane make wedding cakes?
Yes, we make fabulous wedding cakes and have in
the past for Jennifer Lopez, "Baby
Face" and Tracy Edmonds, Elizabeth Perkins, Pete Sampras and Bridgette
Wilson, James Caan, Bruce Springsteen, Larry King, and Carnie Wilson, just

Does Sweet Lady Jane deliver or ship her desserts?
At our discretion we
deliver to the greater Los Angeles area. Please see the

Does Sweet Lady Jane make "gift baskets"?
Yes. We have six different
sized baskets from $45 to $150 - all of which contain an assortment of brownies,
lemon bars, chocolate chip cookies, triple chocolate cookies, peanut butter/chocolate
chip cookies, cheese puffs, Mexican Wedding cookies, rugalah, biscotti,
date bars, and Christmas/Chanukah cookies (holiday cookies during the holiday season).

Does Sweet Lady Jane ship her "gift baskets"?
We only deliver locally in the greater Los Angeles area
at this time.
Does Sweet Lady Jane serve lunch?
Yes, daily from 11:30
a.m.-2:30 p.m.. We serve a soup du jour, one salad of the day, and a variety
of sandwiches served on Sweet Lady Jane’s freshly baked breads, but save
some room for our famous desserts which are served throughout the day. Please visit

Can Sweet Lady Jane accommodate large parties?
At Sweet Lady Jane we seat 18 and usually cannot accommodate large parties or
tour groups. We can seat 5 at our larger tables. If you come with a large group, we
suggest breaking up into groups of 5 or less so that we can seat you more quickly.
Besides lunch, what does Sweet Lady Jane serve?
We
invite all to come in and partake of our fine baked desserts,
prepared daily right here at the bakery. Some of the items we make and
serve include delicious cakes, an array of delectable cheesecakes, pies, fruit tarts, lemon
meringue tarts, croissants, Danish, scones, brownies, cookies, cheese puffs,
rugalah, biscotti, date bars, and of course a variety of breads
and rolls.
On Fridays and
Saturdays we prepare a much greater variety
from which to choose, including tiramisu, key lime pie, strawberry-Napoleons and
English Trifle. Every day we serve our Sweet Lady Jane house blend coffee in a French press,
herbal teas, flavored decaf teas, and espresso and cappuccino.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is ample metered parking in front of the bakery and on the
side streets to the east and west, as well as non-metered parking a little farther
around the corner. Our
Parking page shows the spaces closest to our front door.
Does Sweet Lady Jane accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept American
Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Diners with minimum orders of $10.
